The XL Analytical Balance Ionizer optimizes balance readability when measuring low volume samples by neutralizing electrostatic attraction between test tube and balance. The XL Analytical Balance Ionizer removes the electrostatic charge that can accumulate on analytical balances, sample tubes, and tube racks. In some lab environments, plastic or glass test tubes may accumulate an electrostatic charge when moved in and out of a plastic tube rack. This charge can cause test tube sample weight to appear to vary slightly based on amount of charge present at time of measurement. The XL Ionizer dissipates the electrostatic charge on XL20 or XL100 deck, analytical balance, tube racks, and test tubes from potentially high voltage levels to a low voltage level. This creates a neutral charge environment that optimizes the readability of the XL analytical balance when measuring low volume samples. - Optimizes balance readability for low volume samples
