The 2D scanners are controlled by BioMicroLab's SampleScan software
on a standard Windows-based PC. BioMicroLab's scanners include
technology that allows scanning and decoding 2D marked tubes obtained
from multiple vendors. The 2D scanners are easy to setup
and use.

SampleScan 96 - Tube Rack Scanner
Based on an industry standard scanning technology, this compact
unit scans one, two or three 96 tube racks at a time. A
single 96 tube rack scans in 20 seconds. Advanced productivity
features make tube rack loading and scanning simple and fast.
SampleScan 96's export of data to LIMS system can be set up in
minutes. The support of a separate bar code scanner for
capturing tube rack ID allows accurate scanning operation by a
wide range of operators.
SampleScan 1000 - Single Tube Scanner
The SampleScan1000's combination of a 2D tube reader and LCD
display, make this one of the most intuitive single tube scanners
available. Place a tube on top of this unit and it will
display the tube's ID number on the easy to read LCD. In
addition, the SampleScan1000's software displays allows export
of 2D data to LIMS databases.
